It turns out that her mother has had a major heart attack and she needs to return home but her car has broken down and she can’t get hold of Blake but she does run into her ex, Doug who is very different from when they dated and offers to give her a ride back home and she gratefully accepts since she has no other way of getting there.

Blake meanwhile has accepted a permanent position at the university and is enjoying making friends with the other professors while Erin is in crisis. In the aftermath of finishing college, Melinda actually apologises to Erin and she accepts it which is great since another professor has a crush on Melinda and Blake encourages him to ask her out. As the final day of the semester approaches, Erin is getting a bad feeling as she hasn’t heard from her mother in weeks but she has to put it out of her mind with her thesis defence approaching.

Over the next two weeks we follow Blake and Erin over the course of the semester spending time apart but they desperately want to be with each other again. Labelling as erotic fiction many would believe this series is all about sex but it isn’t it focuses purely on the relationship between two broken and damaged people and how they enhance each other in every single way. They also decide not to see each other until the semester is over but Erin has asked Blake to come to her hometown and meet her mother and Blake has asked her to move in with him, each proving to the other that their feelings are real and this relationship is really going somewhere, which was delight to see. The opening to Beauty Becomes You was definitely my favourite of the series so far as it opens with an amazing sex scene where Blake and Erin begin testing the boundaries of their relationship and not in a BDSM way. Review: It seems that Beauty Becomes You is following the themes and troubles that were laid out in Broken Beauty and I am ready for it, although I am not ready for this series to end as there is only one book left.
